This kickstand is a genuine replacement part for the Tecsun PL-660 radio and can be replaced by the end-user. The kickstand allows for the radio to sit at a an angle for easy viewing of the display whilst listening.
Place the top left hand corner of the new kickstand so that the small plastic protrusion fits into the hole at the top left hand corner of the kickstand recess. Then slowly bend the kickstand whilst sliding towards the small hole in the top right hand corner, effectively reducing the distance between the 2 plastic protrusions. The kickstand is quite tough and can take significant bending force. Once the hole on the right hand side is reached the kickstand will snap into place.
