Delivery
1. Can you arrange deliveries to countries that are not in the European Union or United Kingdom?
Yes, we can ship most of our items to most countries around the world. If you wish to place an order for which the delivery is not in the European Union or United Kingdom, then please visits our alternative website:
2. I live in Bulgaria / Greece / Romania, why does it say that you cannot ship to me?
For orders with a value over €150 (excluding VAT), we only use the services of FedEx Express, otherwise we cannot settle the duties, taxes and other fees on your behalf. However, to some countries FedEx Express does not have a very wide network and will therefore charge additional fees to locations that are outside of this network. Please feel free to contact us, we can probably still arrange the delivery.
3. Where do you ship from?
All our items sent to the European Union are shipped directly from our warehouse in Hong Kong.
4. What courier do you use?
We use a varierty of services by DHL, as well as FedEx Express and in some case Hongkong Post.
5. Can I track my delivery?
Yes, all orders are provided with a tracking number.
6. How much is delivery and how long will it take?
The cost of the delivery depends on the items shipped, their destination and the shipping option selected. We try to limit the shipping fees charged by absorbing some of the actual cost, when and where possible. Please feel free to contact us for a quotation, or use the checkout system to see what the shipping cost is.
The average delivery time is approximately:
Standard (Plus): 9-16 days
FedEx: 3-5 days
Please be aware that from mid-November to mid-January, delivery times for most services will be a bit longer. FedEx services generally operate at the same pace.
7. Will I need to pay any import fees?
No, during checkout our website collects the VAT that needs to be paid to your respective country. Because we are registered with the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) program of the European Union, we will settle the import fees for all orders with a product value up to €150. All orders above €150 are sent by FedEx, and they will settle the VAT, duties and other import fees on our behalf, so there are no additional charges to you upon delivery. For orders to the United Kingdom, our shipping forwarder or FedEx Express settle the required duties, VAT tax and other import fees on our behalf to the UK Tax Authorities.
8. Why is FedEx shipping to Sweden so expensive?
For items with a value above €150, Sweden customs charge us an additional duty of SEK 325 on top of the regular 25% VAT.
9. Can you deliver to a P.O. Box or Parcel Locker?
If you wish your order to be delivered to a P.O. Box or Parcel Locker, then please select the Standard Plus shipping option (if available). FedEx Express only delivers to so-called physical addresses where someone can receive the parcel.
VAT TAX
1. Why do you collect VAT when I place an order?
As of 1 July 2021, every purchase that is made and arrives from outside the European Union is taxed, no matter the value. The amount of VAT that needs to be paid depends on the arrival country's VAT rate (e.g. Ireland is 23%). On top of the VAT, an additional handling fee will also be charged, which can be anywhere from €5 - €15, depending on the country.
Because we are registered with the European Union's Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) program, for orders with a product(s) value up to €150, we can settle the VAT on your behalf and no additional handling fees will be incurred. For orders with a product(s) value above €150, these will be shipped by FedEx so we can also settle the VAT (and other fees) on your behalf.
2. How much VAT do I pay?
Our website shows the estimated price including VAT, which is based on the VAT rate of Germany (19%). When you provide the delivery country for the product(s) during checkout, the VAT rate of that country is used to determine the total amount of VAT that needs to be paid.
3. So I don't pay any import fees?
Correct, you do not pay any duties, taxes or other customs fees.
4. I don't want to pay VAT through your website, is it possible?
If you do not want us to settle the import fees on your behalf, then we can arrange this for you. We will then make a personalised invoice for you. Once this invoice is paid we ship the product(s) within 1-2 business days. When the parcel arrives the destination country, it will then be presented to customs and determined how much you will have to pay. This procedure can be quite lenghty and will take longer than when the VAT is settled by us in advance. Please contact us if you have any enquiries.
Products & Pricing
1. Are your radios suitable for Europe?
We sell the export versions of the radios that we have on offer. This means that these have passed European standards and are CE certified. The same goes for the power adapters or chargers that these are supplied with. The plugs on these adapters and chargers are European type-C. The instruction manuals that come with these products are in English.
2. You offer more products on your global website than here, why?
On our global website www.anon-co.com we offer some products that are not available on this website. This is primarily the case for radios, because the European Union has placed further restrictions on the import of radio products as of 16 July 2021, to assure their compliance with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED). If an item does not yet (fully) comply, we cannot ship it to the EU.
3. Why are product prices on www.anon-co.com so much different than on this website?
Prices on anon-co-eu.com are in €, whereas on anon-co.com price are in US$. There are exchange rate fluctuations that are set by PayPal and Stripe (credit/debit card payments) that we need to account for. For some items we also have an alternative pricing mechanism.
4. Why is the total price in your eBay shop lower than on your website?
There may be situations in which the price in our eBay shop is (slightly) lower than on our website. This may be the case due to exchange rate fluctuations (prices in our eBay shop are in US$), or because of the shipping method offered. For items valued below €150, we may use eBay's own delivery service: SpeedPAK.
